TaskForge is looking for a Developer Advocate who loves building things in public, helping developers succeed, and bridging the gap between product and community. You will be the external face of TaskForge for developers — creating content, building demos, speaking at conferences, and gathering the insights that help us build a better product.

About the role

‍

As our first Developer Advocate, you will have the unique opportunity to define what developer relations looks like at TaskForge. You will build relationships with our developer community, create educational content that showcases what TaskForge can do, and represent the voice of the developer internally to product and engineering. This role sits at the intersection of technical depth, creativity, and community building.

What you will do

‍

Create technical content including blog posts, tutorials, video walkthroughs, and sample projects demonstrating TaskForge capabilities. Build and maintain demo applications that showcase real-world use cases for the platform. Speak at developer conferences, meetups, and online events. Engage with developers on social media, Discord, GitHub, and developer forums. Gather community feedback and translate it into structured product insights for the team. Contribute to developer documentation and getting-started guides.

What we are looking for

‍

• 3+ years of software engineering experience and the ability to write production-quality code in at least one language.
• Prior experience in developer relations, technical writing, or developer marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, approachable technical voice.
• Genuine enthusiasm for community building and helping other developers succeed.
• Comfort with public speaking and on-camera presence for video content.

Bonus if you can

‍

Bring an existing audience or community presence in the developer or AI space. Have experience building integrations or SDKs on top of third-party APIs. Have worked with AI tools, workflow automation platforms, or data engineering products.
